Privacy Policy

The short version: Memory Heist has no accounts and no logins. We do not collect your personal data, we do not run ads, and we do not track you across apps or websites. Your game progress stays on your device and, if you enable it, in your own private iCloud.

This Privacy Policy explains how Memory Heist ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we do not collect

We do not collect, sell, or share personal information. Specifically, the app does not require you to create an account, and we do not gather your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, or advertising identifiers. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

2. Information stored on your device

To make the game work, the app saves data locally on your device, including:

Your level progress, best scores, ratings, and medals.
Daily Paradox streak information.
Levels you create in the level editor.
Your app preferences (sound, haptics, accessibility, and difficulty settings).

This information stays on your device. We cannot see it. You can erase all of it at any time from Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete All Data inside the app, or by deleting the app.

3. iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud enabled for the app, your progress may sync across your devices using Apple's CloudKit in your private iCloud database. This data is tied to your Apple ID and is accessible only to you. We do not have access to it. Apple's handling of this data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Game Center

If you choose to sign in to Game Center, the app submits scores to leaderboards and reports achievements through Apple's Game Center service. Your Game Center presence, nickname, and scores are managed by Apple under your Apple ID and Game Center settings. Game Center is entirely optional — the app is fully playable without it. 5. Purchases

Any in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment details. Purchase and restore functionality is handled by Apple's StoreKit. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles transactions.

6. Children's privacy

Memory Heist is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because we collect no personal data and require no account, the app does not gather information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region).

7. Data retention and deletion

Since we do not collect your data on our servers, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. You are always in control of the data on your device:

Delete in-app data: open Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete All Data to erase all progress, streaks, and custom levels from your device.
Delete everything: removing the app deletes its local data from that device.
iCloud copies: manage or remove app data stored in iCloud from Settings → [your name] → iCloud on your device.
Game Center: manage your scores, achievements, and Game Center account through Apple at Settings → Game Center.

8. Security

Data stored on your device is protected by your device's own security. Data synced through iCloud and Game Center is protected by Apple's infrastructure and your Apple ID security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
